Fun with purpose — learning without knowing it
Children learn best when they don't know they're learning. For younger age groups especially, VML Kids Fun is designed so that the games, puzzles and activities carry genuine educational and developmental outcomes — but present them through play. A child solving a puzzle about animals isn't doing biology homework. They're just having fun. The learning is built in.
For older children, Fun is simply that — a safe, entertaining space free from the addictive mechanics, gambling-adjacent loot boxes and peer-pressure dynamics that characterise many mainstream gaming platforms.

What's in the Fun section
All games and activities are independently reviewed before publication. No in-app purchases, no gambling mechanics, no addictive reward loops designed to maximise screen time.
🎯
Puzzles & Brain Games
Logic puzzles, word games, number challenges, visual pattern recognition and memory games — calibrated to age and difficulty level, always rewarding without being addictive.
🌍
Adventure & Exploration
Story-driven games and interactive experiences that take children through history, geography, science and culture — learning embedded within the narrative, never bolted on.
🎨
Creative Activities
Digital drawing, music making, storytelling tools and creative building — open-ended activities that reward imagination and self-expression rather than competitive performance.
🏆
Quizzes & Challenges
General knowledge, subject-specific and seasonal quizzes — fun, competitive within the child's own verified peer group, and structured around genuine knowledge rather than reaction speed.
🤸
Active Challenges
Games and activities designed to get children moving — physical challenges, dance, sport simulation and outdoor activity prompts that use the screen to reduce screen time.
👥
Multiplayer (Approved Contacts)
Select games allow children to play together with approved friends — strictly within the Communication pillar's verified contacts framework. No random matchmaking, no strangers.
Age-Appropriate Design
Different fun for different ages
The Fun section adapts significantly across age groups. What engages a 4-year-old is very different from what engages a 15-year-old — and the embedded learning outcomes shift accordingly.
Ages 3–5
Shape recognition, colour matching, simple counting, animal identification, basic phonics. All presented through gentle, rewarding play with no time pressure.
Ages 6–10
Maths puzzles, spelling games, geography exploration, creative drawing, simple logic challenges. Difficulty scales within the band based on performance.
Ages 10–14
Strategy games, science simulations, history-based adventures, creative writing tools, general knowledge quizzes. Increasing complexity and peer interaction.
Ages 15–17
Challenge-based games, debate and discussion tools, creative production (music, art, writing), current affairs quizzes, career exploration activities.
What you will never find in VML Kids Fun
